Unified Scanner - Post Show Reconciliation Guide - Optimized Mode Vs. Rich Mode

Optimized mode can transcribe text while the used device is offline. It uses local offline OCR models found on modern flagship phones (ex. Samsung S20 and up, and iPhone 16 and up).

Only use if every single member of your event staff have modern flagship phones (Please check offline OCR compatibility and test before the event).

Rich mode transcribes text using cloud-hosted models (if the device is offline, transcription will happen when connection is established to the internet). If you’re unsure about the compatibility of your team members' devices with offline OCR, select this option.
